For girls ages 18 and under. At DCX we believe in pushing our athletes to their fullest potential. We pride ourselves on our ability to teach skills and to develop talent.
Our 4 competition teams are coached by Derrick Reese and Jordan Gueorguiev. This year we have a Mini Team, Youth Team a Junior team and Senior Team.
All four teams compete in all the same competitions in different levels and divisions. DCX is a great place to build teamwork and friends.
If you are interested in joining the DCX family please call in for a private tryout. You have a place in our program no matter what experience or tumbling skills you have. Please feel free to contact us for more details or if you have any questions at 702-798-3547.
Each and every student receives the best personalized attention and instruction possible. Our staff members are always willing to go the extra mile and have been known to stay after gym hours to offer additional help.
Our athlete's safety comes first and we will never allow them to perform a skill that he or she is not both mentally and physically prepared for. The DCX instructors work to perfect the basics and correct bad habits in order to prepare our athletes to better execute more advanced skills.
Looking out for YOUR future, at DCX we prepare our athletes for the future beyond the world of All Star cheerleading. We not only look at what can be accomplished in a season but also what we can do for each and every individual to help them reach their dreams and take cheerleading to that next level.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What benefit's can you get from being a part of Desert Cheer X-treme competitive cheer teams?
Over the years we have taken in and exposed girls to the sport of cheerleading. Our number one quality is that we make cheerleaders. Because we share a facility with Desert Gymcats, our girls improve at a much faster and safer pace. One of the best benefits is having all the equipment available to us: Trampoline, balance beams, balance boards, foam pit, mats of all shapes and sizes, Back handspring machines, split machines, tumble track, power tumble strip, 2 spring floors and high vaulted ceilings. These help us use the right technique and safety for our girls to learn each skill properly. We also can't forget how much support and help is given to us by the gymnastic staff.
What do we mean by having "unique" choreography?
Unlike some other teams we do all the music and choreography ourselves. We have found this useful over the years because when small problems arise, changes can be made with ease and in a timely manner. In addition, we stand out and get noticed. This unique quality has been very positive for our squads.
What are the benefits of having age approprate teams?
Simple! Routines are made with the age of the cheerleaders in mind; children are exposed to proper behavior within their age group; staff coaches each team the way their age group would benefit most.
