As of this year we have revised the list of skills that students will need to learn in order to be successful at this level and future levels in their Gymnastics careers. Ages 6*:

Each and every student receives the best personalized attention and instruction possible. Our staff members are always willing to go the extra mile and have been known to stay after gym hours to offer additional help.
Our athlete’s safety comes first and we will never allow them to perform a skill that he or she is not both mentally and physically prepared for. The DCX instructors work to perfect the basics and correct bad habits in order to prepare our athletes to better execute more advanced skills.
Looking out for YOUR future, at DCX we prepare our athletes for the future beyond the world of All Star cheerleading. We not only look at what can be accomplished in a season but also what we can do for each and every individual to help them reach their dreams and take cheerleading to that next level.

Sports Acrobatics is a sport involving a combination of dance, tumbling and acrobatic skills. There are five disciplines within the sports acrobatics program:
1. Women’s pairs
2. Mixed pairs
3. Women’s trio
4. Men’s pairs
5. Men’s four person
Each pair or group performs routines featuring gymnastics and tumbling skills, partner balance skills and tempo skills. Balance skills highlight the athletes’ strength and flexibility through pyramids and positions. Temp skills involve somersaulting and twisting with landings on the floor or partner catches. This sport is for athletes of varying heights, weights and body types. Smaller and more flexible athletes are needed for the top or “flyer” positions, while taller and stronger athletes are ideal for base positions.
